Brian Abbott runs the business started by his Grandfather in 1931 at Neutral Bay in Sydney. He has traded at Turramurra for 32 years specialising in fine English 18th & 19th century Furniture, Sterling Silver, Ceramics, Jewellery, Sheffield Plate, 18th century Drinking and Table Glass, Bronzes, Paintings, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Max Dupain photographs.
Brian is a former vice president of the NSW State Chapter of the Australian Antique & Art Dealers Association (AAADA) and is still on the committee after 28 years of service.
He has advised the National Trust, Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum, Vaucluse House and Elizabeth Bay House on various purchases and is always happy to offer advice on conservation and appraise items on request.
